Traffic lights were out along Route 202 between Concord and Chadds Ford township Saturday afternoon and into the evening after a salt truck ran into the overhead lines at State Farm Drive.
Preliminary reports said the driver tried to shift the sand to the rear spreader while driving, but didn't realize how close the lines were. There were no injuries, but some businesses in Painter's Crossing shopping center lost power.
The accident happened about 2 p.m. PennDOT was hoping to reopen the northbound lanes by 6 p.m.
