Chester Water Authority is planning a right lane closure on northbound East Cypress Street/Baltimore Pike between Cope Road and McFarlan Road in Kennett Township, on Wednesday, March 22, through Friday, March 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for water main installation, PennDOT announced today. School board authorizes spending

As was indicated by their discussions during last week’s workshop, Unionville-Chadds Ford School Board Directors this week authorized spending more than $540,000 on building improvements. Firefighters respond to a blaze in an outbuilding at the Haskell farm in Pennsbury Township.

Firefighters from seven different companies responded to a fire in an outbuilding on Hill Girt Farm off of South Creek Road in Pennsbury Township Monday afternoon.
