Firefighters from seven different companies responded to a fire in an outbuilding on Hill Girt Farm off of South Creek Road in Pennsbury Township Monday afternoon. The cause of the fire was not immediately known, but owner HG Haskell said there were no injuries.

Responding to the fire were units from Longwood, Concordville, Kennett, West Chester, Avondale, West Grove and PoMarLin fire companies.

South Creek Road was closed at its intersection with Route 1 in Chadds Ford Township.
