E. Elizabeth Mulloy of Kennett Square

E. Elizabeth Mulloy, 90, of Kennett
Square, died Nov. 10, at Crosslands in Kennett Square. She was the wife of the
late H. Merle Mulloy, attorney and former vice president and general counsel
for the Reading Railroad, who died in 1998 and with whom she shared 34 years of
marriage. Her first husband, Arthur Ford, died in 1962.

Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Edith Hamlin.

Mrs. Mulloy was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing the piano, entertaining
friends, and was an avid gardener as well as a gifted cook and baker. She
enjoyed Vermont and vacationed there at Lake Willoughby, owning a home in
nearby Orleans. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her son Robert Ford; her daughter Carol Ford; two sisters,
Lois March and Jean Salter; two stepdaughters, Barbara Powell and Martha
Mulloy, six grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 11
step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands and parents, she was predeceased by one brother,
Richard Hamlin.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 2
p.m. at Crosslands , in the William Penn Room , Kennett Square. Burial will be
private.
