James “Jim” Levi Aiken, 91, died Sunday, Nov. 21, at his
daughter and son-in-laws’ home in Kennett Square. He was a beloved husband,
father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin.

Jim was born in Kennett Square on Sept. 11, 1919 the youngest of
five children of the late Robert and Sarah “Sadie” Sill Aiken. A 1937
graduate of Kennett High School, he was class vice president and a varsity
baseball player who was subsequently inducted into the Kennett Old Timers Baseball
Hall of Fame.

On July 30,1942, he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he
served 3 ½ years during World War II. A welder in civilian life, Jim was
assigned to several engineer amphibian units in the Pacific Theater building
landing crafts. Upon returning home from the service, he married his
“girl” Theresa (nee Broeders) on May 1946 and together they had five children
whom they were very proud.

While Jim was a hard-working man that always provided for
his family during his career as a skilled tradesman, his favorite activities
included taking day trips, family dinners, hunting, wood carving, watching
Phillies baseball, and helping family members with their electrical, plumbing,
construction and assorted maintenance needs.

He will be greatly missed by his daughters Margaret “Peggy”
Slaughter and husband Carl; Joan Przywara and husband Pat, and Mary Dolbow as
well as sons Jim Aiken and wife Carol and Pete Aiken and wife Sue. He
will also be greatly missed by his 10 grandchildren: Jim, Bill, Bob, Karla,
Beth, Jim, Phil, Erica, Rachel, and Rebecca and four great-grandchildren
Alexis, Audry, Aiden, and Ava Rose

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years
Theresa Aiken in 2005, brothers Robert, Howard, and George, sister Mildred, and
his parents Robert and Sadie.

to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27 at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West
State Street, Kennett Square, PA (Phone: 610-444-4116). His Memorial service
will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square.

Regina Marie Moran, 66, of Kennett Square, died Nov. 21, at
Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester.

Born in Wilmington, Del., she was the daughter of the late
Joseph P. Moran and Frances Kelleher Moran.

Regina was a crane operator at Lukens Steel in Coatesville for
30 years, retiring in 2004. After Lukens, she was a school bus driver for
the Unionville Chadds Ford School District for six years.

She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Kennett Square.

Regina enjoyed going to the casinos and being with the
children on her bus.

She is survived by four brothers, Joseph “Luke” Moran,
Edward Moran, and James Moran, all of Kennett Square, and Paul Moran of
Pioneer, Calif.; and by two sisters, Eileen Sutton and Patricia Harrison,
bother of Kennett Square.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by
three bothers, Charles, Francis, and Michael Moran.

Friday, Nov. 26, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home
(610-444-4116), 250 W. State St., Kennett Square. A graveside service at St.
Patrick Cemetery will follow at 11:30 a.m.
