Kennett Square Police Department
• Police said Joshua Laaksonen, 24, of Kennett Square, was arrested and charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment, following an altercation during which he allegedly pushed a female subject to the ground, causing injury. Officers observed a small laceration and bruising on the victim’s left knee. Laaksonen was taken into custody and transported to central booking at Chester County Prison, where he was processed and held for arraignment. The case is pending a preliminary hearing. The incident occurred on March 13, in the 600 block of Meadowcreek Lane.
• On March 22, shortly before 9 a.m., police observed a Honda SUV go through a steady red light at the intersection of E. State and N. Union streets. Police said they discovered that the driver, not named in the report, was driving with a suspended license and the vehicle’s registration had been revoked.
