Missing Concord man sought

Richard Prugh

***UPDATE: Richard Prugh has been found and is alive and well, according to the state police. End UPDATE***

Pennsylvania State Police from the Media barracks are looking for Richard Prugh, 89, of Concord Township. Prugh left a note for his ex-wife saying he was going to visit his mother in New Hampshire, but the mother is deceased, police said.

Troopers were asked to conduct a welfare check on Prugh about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night because he hadn’t been heard from in 36 hours, according to the report. Police found the note in his back door but could not find the missing man or his vehicle, a 2010 silver Ford Mustang with Pennsylvania tag KFR1303.

He has family in Michigan, California, and North Central Pennsylvania. It’s not known if he has any existing medical conditions.

Anyone with information or who might have seen Prugh is asked to police at 4884-840-1000.
