Academic Achievement Aug. 14

• There are six students from Chadds Ford who were named to the Dean’s List at The University of the Sciences. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a "C" and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the spring of 2020. Newlin Grist Mill closed

Last week’s rain forced the temporary closing of the Newlin Grist Mill. Tony Shahan, Newlin’s director, said storms on Aug. 4 and Aug. 7 “devastated” the park. “Water entered five of our buildings, wrecked trails, washed away boardwalks and bridges, and damaged parking lots.
