Another flood warning into this evening

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Delaware and Southern Chester counties

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams…urban areas…highways…streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low-lying spots.

A flash flood warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately. Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate precautions to protect life and property. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

A two-vehicle crash on Route 202 led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man from Bear, Del. A police report said 29-year-old John Keeley, of Garnet Valley, was arrested for DUI, aggravated assault, and other offenses following a July 31 incident on Stoney Bank Road at Route 1. The report did not offer any details of the event.

Two Chester County residents were arrested for harassment in Concord Township on Aug. 6. The report identified them as Lisa Pergallini, 41, of Exton, and Ryan Sandow, 37, of Oxford.
