Kevin Lehi Martinez-Rodriguez, 21, of Oxford, faces drug charges following a traffic stop on the Route 1 off ramp at Newark Road in New Garden Township on May 22. Police said a consent search was performed and a small bag of marijuana was found inside the black Chevrolet Traverse Martinez-Rodriguez was driving.

A 26-year-old man from Coatesville, unnamed in the report, was arrested for DUI in Kennett Township on May 25 at 5:16 p.m. According to the report, the driver had been observed traveling at a high rate of speed on Route 1, south of Route 82. He showed signs of impairment when stopped, police said, and was subsequently arrested.

Police said Dan B. Hernandez, 31, of Coatesville was charged with DUI following a one-vehicle accident on W. Doe Run Road near Mill Road in East Marlborough Township. According to the report, the car went off the road, rolled over after hitting an embankment. It then struck a utility pole and slid on its roof before coming to a stop in the middle of the road. Hernandez was taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment of suspected injuries, the report said.

Southern Chester County Regional Police

Jose Garduno-Ocampo, 61, of Kennett Square was arrested and charged with DUI and a related traffic offense, following a traffic stop for failing to maintain his lane of travel, a police report said. The incident occurred on April 27 at 11:47 p.m., in the 1000 block of Baltimore Pike, in New Garden Township. Police said they observed indicators suggesting intoxication and field sobriety tests showed impairment. He was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and submitted to a chemical test of his breath, resulting in a blood alcohol level of 0.121 percent.
