Girl Scout Day at Chadds Ford Elementary School. There were 60 Girl Scouts celebrating with the fourth-grade juniors leading activities in World Dance, International languages as well as beading and how to use a loom. They then made Arm Pit fudge. This is the fourth year of this event coordinated by Anna Marcotte, the Girl Scout school coordinator for CFES.
• Residence at Chadds Ford will be hosting an interactive talk for dementia caregivers and the general public on Wednesday, June 19, 5:30 p.m., at the Chadds Ford Historical Society. Author and memory care specialist Kelly McCarthy will present her Brass Ring methodology and training – the latest innovation in dementia care endorsed by the National Institute of Dementia Education.
