Around Town June 13

Girl Scout Day at Chadds Ford Elementary School. There were 60 Girl Scouts celebrating with the fourth-grade juniors leading activities in World Dance, International languages as well as beading and how to use a loom. They then made Arm Pit fudge. This is the fourth year of this event coordinated by Anna Marcotte, the Girl Scout school coordinator for CFES.

Academic Achievement June 13

• Dakota Raymond, Daphne Liang, William Mistretta and Kara Siemer, each from Chadds Ford, graduated from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia last month.
