North Coventry Township is also getting money for an adaptive kayak launch and boat ramp rehabilitation project at Riverside Park. A total of 15 municipalities are sharing $2.5 million in open space funding.

Kennett Township is one of 15 townships, municipalities, and organizations getting extra open space funding from Chester County. According to a press release, Kennett will get $250,000 to acquire a 23.7-acre wooded property to connect to its 170-acre publicly accessible nature preserve and with trail corridors on two adjacent properties.
