The Kennett Library was awarded a $1.9 million grant from Pennsylvania’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program to construct the new Kennett Library & Resource Center. This is in addition to the $1 million RACP grant that the state awarded to the library in 2019. Kennett Library's Board of Trustees will now begin determining the best way to apply this latest RACP award to support the construction of our new library building at State and Willow streets in downtown Kennett Square. Construction on the new building is just beginning, and a grand opening is planned for Spring 2023.
