Jeffrey Riggs, 52, of Kennett Square, died Thursday, Oct. 4. He was the son of Judith E. Miller Pratt and the late Douglas E. Riggs. Police Log Oct. 17: Identity theft, bullet found in wall, notary arrested

• A Pennsbury Township man was the victim of identity theft last month. State police said an unknown suspect obtained the victim’s personal information and tried to buy a Mercedes-Benz from a dealership in Columbia, Mo.
