Hello, my name is Misty and I am a 9-year-old spayed female. I was surrendered on Dec. 28. I was a little shy at first, adjusting to shelter life was a little overwhelming and stressful for me. I prefer spending my time in the cubby where I feel safe and comfortable. I appreciate a quiet approach and request a quieter home.
Hi, my name is Frida. I’m a spayed female who is 1 year old. I am an all black Domestic Medium Hair who was surrendered Dec. 29. I am still frightened from being in the shelter and a little insecure. I’m looking for a kind hand to make everything good. I am a little under socialized, and just need time to adjust to a new situation. I’m looking for an experienced cat owner preferred who will work with me as any progress make take time and patience, but I could be so worth it.
Rutherford, here, at your service! I’m a handsome, distinguished Labrador retriever who arrived at the Brandywine Valley SPCA as a stray. I’m unfailingly polite, a true gentleman. The entire shelter has fallen in love with me, so I guess that makes me the Big Man on Campus. What I really want is to be the big man in your home. I’m about 7 years old, so I have gotten rid of that puppy energy. I prefer my days to be filled with leisurely walks, snuggles, delicious treats and lots of love. I’m housebroken and really ready to find a family to share the rest of my life with. I’m great with all people and get along well with dogs. Won’t you take a little time out of your day to meet me? I’ll be eagerly waiting for you to visit! I’m neutered, vaccinated, and up-to-date on all of my shots, too.
Hi, my name is Augustus, and I am a 2-year-old male terrier mix who arrived at the Brandywine Valley SPCA as a stray. I am neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. I’m an energetic guy that is looking to have tons of fun with my new family. I’m a strong guy that is working on my manners, but I do have good listening skills. I also love playing in playgroups with other dogs, especially my buddy Ciroc. I would love to find a friend who will continue with my training so I can become the best dog I can be. Will that be you?
Greetings, friends. My name is Ciroc, and I came to the Brandywine Valley SPCA after I was transferred from another shelter. I have shown to be good with all dogs, but I would need to be in a home with older children. I love going to playgrounds with the shelter dogs like my buddy Augustus, but I would like to go home with you and play with your dogs. I am neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and microchipped. I can’t wait to meet you to become a part of your forever family.
I’m Sniffles; I know, it is a silly name, but when I came to the shelter as a stray, I had a bad upper respiratory infection and the medical team at the BVSPCA took great care of me and made me feel well again. Upon first meeting, I don’t actively seek out your attention, but I shyly watch you as you interact with the more outgoing cats I am living with. What can I say? I am a little bashful here in an unfamiliar place. I want your attention, but I just need a little time to ask for it. Approach me slowly, and give me a few soft pets on my head, and you will see how much I love attention from the two-legged crowd. I’m a sweet, gentle girl who would be a wonderful companion cat. I’m looking for a friend or family to take me in and show me love, which I will gladly give in return. And have you seen my eyes? I’ve been told they are mesmerizing. I’m spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. I hope you swing by the shelter to see me soon.
