William “Mike” Predmore

William “Mike” Predmore, 55, of New London, died after a brief illness on Thursday March 6, at University of Pennsylvania Hospital. He was the husband of Lori Hilliard Predmore, with whom he shared 36 years of marriage.

Born in Springfield, Va. he was a son of the late Roy and Betty Neely Predmore.

After High school, Mike attended Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh.

In his youth, Mike enjoyed Boy scouts and earned the honor of Eagle Scout. As an adult he remained active with Boy Scouts as assistant scout master for local troop 30 and was a Vigil Member of the Order of the Arrow.

Mike was a supply chain manager for Container Research Corp CRC in Aston.

He was a member of Assumption BVM Catholic church and was a past youth group leader. He was past president and current member of the Avon Grove Regional Emergency Management AGREM, the Emergency Management Coordinator for New London Township, and an active member, assistant engineer, trustee and multiple committee member of the West Grove Fire Company for more than 20 years.

He organized the Santa visits at area neighborhoods with this fire trucks. In addition to his family, the two loves of his life were his dog Tanker 22 and his fire truck Elsie.

Survivors include in addition to his wife, one son, Mike Predmore of New London; one daughter, Lauren Predmore of New London; two sisters, Ann Neely Carpenter of Palmdale, Calif. and Mary Beth McCall of West Chester; three nieces, Ashlea, Megan and Melanie; four nephews, Jason Joshua, Jeff and Bryan; a sister in law Cindy Hilliard and his father in law, Frank Hilliard. He was predeceased by a son Johnathan.

You are invited to visit with Mike’s family and friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, and from 9-10 a.m. Frida,y March 14 at Assumption BVM Catholic Church 300 State Rd. West Grove, PA 19390. His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the church. Interment will be in New London Presbyterian Cemetery.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the West Grove Fire Company PO Box 201 West Grove, PA, 19390 for the Antique Fund. Pauleen Grace Lynch, formerly of Chadds Ford

Pauleen Grace Lynch, 86, of Dillsburg, formerly of Chadds Ford, died at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. She was the wife of William “Bill” D. Lynch, who died in 2000, and with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.

Born in Hurricane, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Henry A. and Mazie Barr Miller.

Pauleen was a tube and rod inspector at the NVF Company in Kennett Square for 20 years, retiring in 1981.

She was a member of Elizabeth Ann Seaton Church in Mechanicsburg.

She enjoyed needlepoint, traveling and was an avid sports fan, especially baseball.

Pauleen is survived by one son Kennett C. Lynch and his wife Sandra of Dillsburg; one sister, Joan Miller of Galax, Va., two grandchildren, April Azmon and Caitlin Lynch, and one great granddaughter, Sivan Azmon.

You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 6 to 8, Wednesday evening, March 12, and again from 8 to 9 Thursday morning, March 13, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street in Kennett Square. Her funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 212 Meredith Street in Kennett Square. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Route 82 in Kennett Square.

John “Pops” L. Eller Sr. of Oxford

John “Pops” L. Eller Sr., 79, of Oxford, died Saturday, March 8, at his residence. He was the husband of Nana Belle Hamilton Eller who passed away in 2006, and with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.

Born in West Grove, he was the son of the late Lester And Lora Eller.

John was a machinist at FMC/Cyclops Corp., in Downingtown, for more than 30 years.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, selling produce and being with his grandchildren.

He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves for four years.

He is survived by one son, John L. Eller, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Millsboro, Del.; one brother, Jesse Eller of Newark, Del.; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, March 13, at the New London Baptist Church, 226 Pennocks Bridge Road in West Grove. His funeral service will follow at 11:30. Burial will be in the New London Presbyterian Cemetery, Route 896 in New London.
