Eleanor L. Calder, 80
of London Grove, died Oct. 20 at Heartland Hospice House in Wilmington. She was
the widow of Deryl Calder, who died in 2002 and with whom she shared 53 years
of marriage.
Born in Statesville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late
Robert Wright Lee and Fay Garrett Lee.
A homemaker, Eleanor enjoyed the mountains and nature’s
beauty, going to the beach, fishing, and traveling with her family and friends.
She is survived by a son, Daniel L. Calder and his wife Beth
of Cochranville; a daughter, Constance L. Love and her boyfriend Joseph S.
Toscano of Wilmington; a brother, Robert W. Lee II and his wife Barbara of
Statesville, N.C.; four grandchildren, Susan Love, Michael Love, Codi Calder
and Caysie Calder; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial
service at 7 pm on Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Foulk & Grieco Funeral
Home, 610-869-2685, 200 Rose Hill Rd., West Grove. Interment will be private.
