Almost Fab!: Beatles music review returns to Darlington

Darlington is pleased to present the return of Almost FAB!, the extremely popular Beatles music review, at their Coffee
House Series Oct. 23, 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.  Playing Beatle songs from every era of the Fab Four’s
career, Almost FAB creates a fun
atmosphere while rocking your night away with the songs that you know all the
words to, and can sing along with.
These Friday evenings start with an open mic for amateurs and students
at 7:30 pm followed by the featured performers from 8 to 9:30 pm.  A $10 ticket gets you an evening of
live music, beverages and dessert in an informal setting with great company.

Almost FAB’s cast brings over 150 combined years of studying and
performing to the stage.  These seasoned musicians are all in agreement
that they are playing THE music that has had the most profound influence on
their desire to become musicians.  This gig maybe the most fun these five guys have ever had
on stage.  Their enjoyment and energy is contagious for the audience
members who get to experience an evening with the cast of Almost FAB!

The
Coffee House Series continues with singer/songwriter Geri Smith performing on
Feb. 19 with the Calabrese family and Jimmy Daughton.  Geri will perform her moving original solo and group pieces,
and you never know when a cover will be tossed in.

Rounding out the series, Darlington will present Maitrayee Patel on April 24 performing her native North Indian classical
music as well as her original compositions.

Darlington Arts Center is a non-profit community arts center with
classes, lessons and workshops in music, art, dance, drama and fitness for all
