Mario “Doc” P. Malchione of Avondale
Mario “Doc” P. Malchione, 98, of Avondale, died Saturday, Dec. 17. He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma Aquilanti Malchione. They shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Kennett Square, in 1924, he was the son of Peter and Rose Mascaro Malchione and grew up working with his three brothers on their family’s mushroom farm.
