David William Page of Cochranville

David William Page, 59, of Cochranville, died Thursday, April 22. He was born and raised in Chadds Ford, then as a teenager moved to Garnet Valley where he graduated from Garnet Valley High School in 1980.

He played baseball for the Brandywine Youth Club and also a member of the Garnet Valley ski club. He was an avid, competitive skier and enjoyed teaching his daughter to ski any mountain. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating on the Chesapeake, was a Philadelphia Eagles Fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and loved to work in his barn. David really enjoyed the outdoors.

David worked for his father at Page Excavating for more than 20 years. For the last five years, he was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 542. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator. He was a proud father and husband. He was the son of the late William Page and survived by beloved mother: Doris (Peters) Page, beloved wife: Maryanne (Wiciak) Page, daughter: Cecily Page, brother: Tim Page, niece: Jamie, stepsister: Priscilla Garvin.
