Train derails off the tracks along Creek Road near Cossart Road Monday evening.

There’s no official word yet on how it happened, but a freight train derailed along Creek Road near Cossart Road in Pennsbury Township Monday evening. An employee at Hillgirt Farm reportedly heard the sound somewhere around 6 p.m. However, a Pennsylvania state police spokesman said they received the call at about 6:30. Pennsylvania and Delaware State Police did respond initially, but neither of those agencies…

As anticipated, Unionville-Chadds Ford School Board directors approved a proposed final budget for next year and approved several contracts for works at several buildings.
