Frank L. Casey of West Chester

Frank L. Casey, 69, of West Chester, died Thursday, June 22.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Marian (May) Casey.

Frank received his bachelor’s of science degree from King's College and his master’s of business administration from St. Joseph's University. After working in trust departments for several years, he opened his own office, Comprehensive Plans Management in 1984.

Frank was the head baseball coach for 20 years at Devon Preparatory School as well as the head golf coach for 24 years. For the last eight years, he was the junior varsity baseball coach at Radnor High School. He was a PIAA baseball umpire for 25-plus years in Chester County. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was the beloved husband of Kathleen S. (Shovlin) Casey; loving father of Brian F. Casey (Erin), Kevin R. Casey (Katie) and Sean M. Casey; loving grandfather of Emma, Maelynn, Madelyn, Ryan and Kayla; dear brother of Susan Rose (John); brother-in-law of James & Maureen Williams. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 6-8 p.m. Monday, at Devon Preparatory School Chapel, 363 Valley Forge Rd, Devon, PA 19333 and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Road, West Chester, PA 19380 followed by his funeral mass. Interment will be on Wednesday at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Shavertown.
