Regina “ Shorty” L. Fanning of Kennett Square

Regina “ Shorty” L. Fanning, 97, of Kennett Square, died
Monday, Nov. 21, at the Regal Heights Healthcare Center in Hockessin. She was
the wife of James E. Fanning who died in 1971, and with whom she shared 38
years of marriage.

Born in Toughkenamon, PA, she was the daughter of the late
Percy and Bertha Craig Lamborn.

She worked at the NVF Co. in Kennett Square, as a machine
operator, retiring in 1979.

She was a member of the Hockessin VFW Post No. 5892 Ladies
Auxiliary.

She enjoyed fishing and crabbing, going to Atlantic City and
Delaware Park. She enjoyed many of the activities at Regal Heights.

She is survived by two nephews who were her caretakers,
Charles Fanning and Joseph Fanning, and many other nieces and nephews.

You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 10-11
a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State
Street, Kennett Square (Phone: 610-444-4116). Her funeral service will follow.
Burial will be in New Garden Friends Cemetery.
