Join us to hear what it’s like to be turkey farmer Nathan Howe as he and his family raise several thousand birds using all natural methods at their Howe Turkey Farm operation in Downingtown. What makes for the tastiest birds? Is it breed, feed or tricks of the trade passed down from prior generations? Andy Hirneisen, Penn State Extension Food Safety Educator, will also be sharing his top tips for preparing the juiciest birds (besides buying local!), which will get us all on the right track for the holidays.
