Media Barracks
• Police said Guillermo Bustos Guardarrama, 38, of Chadds Ford, was arrested for making terroristic threats during a domestic dispute on June 1. The incident happened in Concord Township. According to the report, police made contact with the victim who made the report. She said her husband had been threatening her.
• Troopers from the Media barracks are investigating a case of theft at the Concord Township Acme on June 8. They are reportedly looking for two unidentified and undescribed women.
• Police are also investigating a case of a laptop being stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Painters Crossing on May 29.
• A police report said an 18-year-old man from Concord Township was arrested for stealing $18.95 worth of merchandise from the Wawa at Naamans Creek Road in Concord on June 17. The suspect was not identified in the report
Avondale Barracks
• No names were given in the report, but one driver was cited for following too closely and rear-ended another car on Route 1 and Bayard Road in East Marlborough Township on June 15. Neither driver was injured, and both cars were able to be driven away.
• Police are investigating a case of computer hacking in Pennsbury Township. The incident happened on June 15, and police said the victim, a 59-year-old man, had $40,000 removed from a checking account.
• Douglas M. Fuehrer, 65, of Marcus Hook, was cited for driving with a suspended license after a two-car crash in Pennsbury Township on June 8, police said. He was also injured and transported to Chester County Hospital for a medical emergency, according to the report. The accident happened on Route 1, east of Brintons Bridge Road. According to the report, Fuehrer was driving south on Route 1 behind the other car and struck it.
• Someone opened a fraudulent Verizon account in the name of a 48-year-old Kennett Square man. Police are investigating.
• No names were given, but a motorist driving a 2017 Toyota Tacoma was cited for his or she, was involved in a two-car crash on Route 1 in East Marlborough Township on June 17. According to the police report, both vehicles were going south on Route 1 near Onix Drive when the Toyota driver tried to change lanes when it wasn’t safe and struck the other vehicle.
• A 29-year-old man from Chadds Ford — not named in the report — was arrested for harassment following a domestic dispute with violence in Pennsbury Township on June 17. The incident is pending investigation.
• Troopers are investigating a case of terroristic threats that occurred at the East Marlborough Township Wawa on June 11. One customer allegedly threatened another. The reported victim is a 52-year-old man from Wilmington.
• Police said Christina R. Casey, 44, of Downingtown, was cited for a one-car crash after she fell asleep at the wheel while driving on Upland Road in East Marlborough Township on May 9. The vehicle she was driving left the roadway and struck a utility pole. She was transported to a hospital for treatment of a shoulder injury. 
Kennett Square Police Department
• Borough police have issued arrest warrants for two people, Kenyetta Jefferson-Howard, 46, of Mesquite, Texas, and Frederick Braswell, 60, of Maumelle, Ark. The two are wanted on charges of identity theft and criminal conspiracy in connection with a November 2025 incident. According to the report, officers responded to a report of identity theft in the 600 Block of D Street. The victim reported that their personal information had been used to apply for multiple apartment rentals in their name without their consent in Texas. Upon the issuance of search warrants to email providers and other investigative measures, officers identified Jefferson-Howard, Braswell, and a female subject as the offenders in this incident. A criminal complaint was completed, and an arrest warrant was issued on June 15.
• On June 13, at approximately 11:24 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 700 Block of S. Garfield Street on a vehicle displaying counterfeit Pennsylvania emissions and inspection certification decals. According to the report, once police made contact with the operator and sole occupant of the vehicle, Mario Torres, 62, of Kennett Square, police recognized him from a previous traffic stop that occurred in April 2026 for the same offense. Torres, the report continued, admitted that the inspection decals were counterfeit and knew his vehicle would not pass inspection, which is why he obtained the counterfeit certifications. Mario Torres was taken into custody, processed, and later released pending the issuance of a summons. The above-mentioned charges were filed in District Court 15-3-04.
