Brown leaves sheriff’s race

Joshua Brown, the Republican Party candidate for Delaware County sheriff, has withdrawn from the race. According to an email from Chadds Ford Township Republican leader Mary Kot, Brown pulled out “due to issues that occurred in his past.” Replacing Brown on the GOP ticket is Lawrence Weigand, of Marcus Hook.
