Area businesses are stepping up to provide a wide array of options for a covid-safe celebration of Valentine’s Day. Restaurants are operating below capacity for safe dining and many have upped their take-out options for those preferring to savor a decadent meal at home. Area wineries have both in-person and take-out options and sweet treats abound at area bakeries and chocolatiers.

Chadds Ford Tavern is offering a four-course dinner for two that can be ordered and eaten on site (reservations required) or taken home for a more intimate meal. Chadds Ford Winery offers an in-person tasting featuring sweet and savory selections from three local businesses including Éclat Chocolate, Birchrun Hills Farm, and Herman’s Coffee. Galer Estate Vineyard & Winery has three options available. At the vineyard, wine and chocolate pairings for Feb 12- 14, reservations required.
