Once again, “Love Seed Mama Jump” will take the stage at Anson B. Nixon Park for a fundraiser to benefit the park, a hidden sanctuary of ponds, streams, fields and woodlands, tucked into a corner of downtown Kennett Square.

Comprised of more than 100 acres, the park, which opened in 1993 for passive recreation, contains land in both the borough and Kennett Township and hosts a variety of popular activities throughout the year, ranging from concerts to soccer games.

“Love Seed Mama Jump,” a six-piece rock band from Dewey Beach, Del., will be backed up by “Californium,” a Kennett Square-based alternative rock band. The festive, family-friendly, rain-or-shine event will run from 2 to 7 p.m. Kids’ activities will include face-painting moon bounce, sports demonstrations, and more.

No outside food or drink or pets will be permitted for the fundraiser.

Tickets are $15 for adults; children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available online at www.ansonbnixonpark.org.
