Bomb threat at school proves unfounded

A bomb threat prompted Kennett Township Police to evacuate an elementary school on Friday morning, Oct, 17, a threat that ultimately proved unfounded. Robert A. Barratt, 86, of Chadds Ford, died Thursday, Oct. 16, at his residence. He was the husband of Mary Louise Hiorth Barratt, who died in 2006, and  with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.
