Care 2 Cure to Benefit the Crozer Regional Cancer Center

Everyone has been touched by cancer. We have loved ones that we’ve lost to this horrible disease, others that are survivors and those who right now are in the battle for their lives. It is time to lace up those sneakers and change the course of cancer for our family and friends.

Care 2 Cure Walk/Run is a fundraiser that features a five kilometer or one mile certified course that will start at the Crozer-Keystone Cancer Center, 500 Evergreen Drive in Glen Mills, on Sunday, October 20 at 8:30a.m. and wind through the Shoppes at Brinton Lake. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Crozer Cancer Project Team, which is committed to ensuring that the Crozer Regional Cancer Center remains a comprehensive, leading edge provider of accessible, compassionate and state of the art cancer care for patients in our region.

You will save time and money by registering prior to Oct. 11, so please act now and let your friends and family know about this important event in our community. Adult registrations prior to Oct. 11 are $25 and children under 15 are only $15. All pre-registrants are guaranteed receipt of a Care 2 Cure T-shirt. Registration is possible on race day for an adult fee of $30 and a children’s fee of $20.

Recently, under the leadership of Dr. Raymond Vivacqua, a new committee, the Crozer Cancer Project Team, was formed to help raise funds for the Crozer Regional Cancer Center. The Crozer Cancer Project Team is committed to ensuring that the programs and services at the Crozer Regional Cancer provide comprehensive leading edge, accessible and compassionate cancer care for patients in our region.
