Charmaine P. Brown, 84, of Williamsburg, Va., formerly of Kennett Square, died Monday, Sept. 16, at the Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Raymond L. Brown, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.
Born in Kennett Square, she was the daughter of the late Grayson and Julia Kelly Patchell.
She was a bookkeeper at Longwood gardens, retiring in 1985.
Mrs. Brown enjoyed watching TV, going for walks and being with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Lisa Arguello and her husband David of Williamsburg, Va., three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews
She was predeceased by one sister, Janice Slicer.
You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square. Her funeral service will follow. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square.
