Kathryn “Kitty” A. Fenstermacher, 83 of Smyrna, Del., died Wednesday Nov. 27. She was born to the late Joseph and Carrie Dunn on March 12, 1930.
Kitty was a long time resident of Unionville and Kennett Square, prior to moving to Smyrna, with her daughter in 2005.
Kitty was preceded in death by her late husband Harry S. Fenstermacher and son Harry (Jake) S. Fenstermacher Jr. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl F. O’Neill; daughter-in-law, Linda Fenstermacher; seven grandchildren; Kathryn (Roland) Murphy, Jennifer (Anthony) Willey, Zachary Fenstermacher, Alison (Michael) Fenstermacher-Smith, Hanna Fenstermacher, Kristine Fenstermacher, and Rachel Fenstermacher; and five great-grandchildren.
Baking was something Kitty loved to do and she enjoyed sharing all of her desserts and recipes with family and friends.
Her Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Mendenhall. You may visit with the family from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Burial will be private.
