S. in Music , Jacalyn took workshops with artists Kenn Backhaus and Stapleton Kearns who helped contribute to her understanding and love of plein air painting. "I paint outdoors because the world is rich with beauty and it's the optimal way to see three dimensional objects, the subtleties of light and shadows, atmospheric perspective and real colors." The frames she uses are unique in their own right; the impressionist rural landscapes have some frames made by Gold Leaf Studios, signed by William AdAIr ... Badura style frames in white gold leaf, featuring full incising, punchwork and sgraffito. Upon viewing Timothy Wadsworth's art, it has been noted that it intuitively encourages and indulges the senses, stimulates curiosity and promotes a peaceful reflection. Known for detailed realism, Tim continues to combine his creative passion, emotional energy and technical precision in all of the works. Tim is the Director of Communications for the Hospital Contracting Division of Independence Blue Cross ... he also has been painting professionally for over 10 years. Significant changes in his life has generated new ideas and explorations ... a bolder palette, expanding the Brandywine style and stretching it a little bit, including new imagery, scenery from the mid-west, to an invitation to paint jet fighters off an air craft carrier in California, his work is expanding. He says, "I'm an artist first. I always have been. I've always incorporated my creative thinking, my creative production into the work that I do everyday. So, I do have the opportunity to introduce some of that thinking into the work that I do within my day job." Tim lives in Collegeville, PA.
