Martha Jane Bailey of Kennett Square

Martha Jane Bailey, 92, of
Kennett Square, formerly of Toughkenamon, died April 21. She was the wife of
Earl Bailey, who died in 1966, and with whom she shared 15 years of marriage.

She was born in West Chester, PA
on April 13, 1920, the daughter of the late George and Mary Nelson Gallagher.
Martha was a lifetime resident of Kennett Square, PA. area.

She was an active member of the
VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 5467.

Martha was employed by the NVF
Company in Kennett Square for 43 years, retiring in 1985.

Martha, Mottie Mott, as she was
affectionately called, was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be
greatly missed. She leaves to cherish her memory a dedicated daughter, Mary Lou
Fieni, and her husband Anthony “Junior” of Kennett Square; a son, Joseph
Sexton, and his wife Patricia of Kennett Square; six grandchildren, seven great
grandchildren, one great-great grandson, one sister, Bertha Fabucci of
Newark, Del.; two step-brothers, Harvey Settles of Harrington, Del. and
Theodore Hawkins of Colorado Springs, Colo., and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by, two
sisters: Margaret Allaband and Virginia Gallagher, and one brother, David
Detter.

The family would like to thank
Michelle Oakley at Regal Height for the special cares she gave Martha Jane,
during her time there.

Please join us in celebrating
the life of Martha Bailey, from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, and again from 11
a.m. to noon on Monday morning, April 30, at the Kuzo and Grieco Funeral Home,
250 West State Street, Kennett Square, (Phone: 610-444-4116). Her funeral
service will follow. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square.

Stefanie M. Csernica of Kennett Square

Stefanie M. Csernica, 69, of
Kennett Square, died Friday April 20, at the Chester County Hospital after a
short term illness. She was the wife of David M. Csernica with whom she shared
52 years of marriage.

Born in Germany, she was the
daughter of the late Stanley and Jenny Zienkievicz.

Mrs. Csernica lived in Poland
until immigrating to the United States in 1949. She graduated from Franklin
High School in New Jersey and later attended nursing school.

She was a geriatric nurse at
Kendal/Crosslands in Kennett Square, , retiring after 30 years of service. She
was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kennett Square.

Stefanie was an avid bowler,
sports fan, a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

In addition to her husband, she
is survived by six children: Jacky, wife of Terry Cooley of Dallas, Texas;
David Csernica and his wife Jolie of Havertown; Lisa, wife of Michael Rotella
of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; Micky Csernica and his wife Gillian of Kennett
Square; Joey, wife of Tim Sipes of Downingtown, and Tommy Csernica and his wife
Stephanie of Kennett Square.

She is also survived by two
brothers, Siggy and John, fourteen grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.

You are invited to visit with
her family and friends from 6-8 p.m., on Thursday, April 26, and again on
Friday morning from 8:15 to 9:15 at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250
West State Street, Kennett Square, (Phone: 610-444-4116). Her funeral Mass will
follow at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church 212 Meredith Street, Kennett
Square. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
