Clark Lawson Huntington of London Grove

Clark Lawson Huntington, 90, of London Grove, passed away on
Saturday, March 26, at Linden Hall in Kennett Square. He was the husband of
Evelyn Beyers Huntington, with whom he shared 66 years of marriage.

Born in Packwood, Wash., he was the son of the late Clark
Garrison and Irma Lawson Huntington.

He was an Operating Engineer for Charles F. Smith & Sons
in Kennett Square for 33 years, retiring in 1986.

He was a chief petty officer in US Navy during World War II
where he served his country as a Seabee.

Clark was a member of the International Union of Operating
Engineers and the Chester County Beekeepers Association.

He was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed hunting, reading,
gardening, beekeeping and woodworking. He was a master of all trades.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons,
Dennis Clark Huntington and his wife Karen of Plymouth, Mich., Wayne Huntington
and his wife Paula of New Madison, Ohio and Gary Huntington and his wife Denise
of West Chester; one daughter, Nancy Potts and her husband Steven of West Grove;
one sister, Irma Boyer of Randle, Wash., ten grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.

You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 10
a.m. to noon on Wednesday, March 30, at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother
Church, 8910 Gap Newport Pike (Route 41), Avondale. His funeral service will
follow at noon. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kennett Square.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Clark’s memory may be
made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102,
Philadelphia, PA 19106 or to Linden Hall, 147 West State Street, Kennett
Square, PA 19348.
