Carla Nelle Jordan, 75, of Kennett Square, died Tuesday,
March 1.

Born in Walnut Creek, Calif., she was the daughter of the
late Clifford Nelle and the late Edith Cheek. Carla studied art at the
University of California at Berkeley. She was an accomplished equestrian; she
and her beloved horse Gray Friar competed at Prix St George level dressage and
won numerous side saddle and carriage competitions at Madison Square Garden,
Washington International Horse Show, and Devon Horse Show.

Carla is survived by two sons, Robert Brian Jordan of
Chatham, and Michael Thomas Jordan of Manilla, Philippines; a daughter Kristen
Jordan LaDow of Unionville; and by four grandchildren.

Service and interment will be private. Contributions may be
made in the memory of Carla Jordan to New Bolton Center, 382 West Street Road,
Kennett Square, Pennsylvania 19348.
