Robert J. Brison, 63, of Sedalia, Mo., formerly
of Kennett Square died Sunday, Jan. 9 from a brief illness.Robert J. Brison, 63, of Sedalia, Mo., formerly
of Kennett Square died Sunday, Jan. 9 from a brief illness. He was the husband
of Bonnie L. Brison with whom he shared 17 years of marriage.

He was born in West Chester to Madeline
Brison and the late James I. Brison.

He was a 1966 graduate of Kennett High
School, where he excelled in track and field.

He served in the U.S. Army in Korea
during the Vietnam War.

He was previously employed by numerous
horse farms throughout the Chester County area and loved working with horses.
He was an over-the-road trucker employed by Perdue, UPS, National Carriers, PS
Bowman and most recently Kaolin Mushroom Farms/South Mill Mushrooms of Kennett
Square.

Robert was an avid sports fan of
football, Baseball and horse racing. He was also an umpire and
referee. He was a member of UAME Bethel Church in Kennett Square.

Being a truck driver allowed him to see
places all over the country but also allowed him to enjoy the peace and
tranquility of his home in the open space with his wife in Missouri.

In addition to his wife and mother, he
is survived by his children: Heather Brown, Heidi Parker, and Robert Brison;
his stepson Barry E. Warren, Jr.; his sisters Joyce Bladen and her husband
Dennis, Joan Austin and her husband Jobi, and Joanne Carter; his brothers
Richard Brison and his wife Nydia, Robyn Brison and his wife Robyn, and Ronald
Brison; his nephew Robert S. Brison his wife Jackie and their children
Nicholas, Gregory and Olivia; four grandchildren, several great nieces and
nephews, and a host of aunts and uncles.

You are invited to visit with Robert’s
family and friends on Sunday, Jan. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. and again on Monday,
Jan. 17 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home
(610-444-4116), 250 W. State St., Kennett Square. His funeral service will
follow at 11 am on Monday. Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may
be made in Robert’s memory to the New Bolton Center, 382 W. Street Rd., Kennett
