Ruthie Hamm of Kennett Square

Ruthie Hamm, 86, of Kennett Square, died Friday, Dec. 31, at
the Chester County Hospital. She was the wife of the late James W. Hamm, Sr.,
who died in 1971, and with whom she shared 30 years of marriage.

Born in Galviston, Ky., she was the daughter of the late
Dewey and Martha Hamilton Hall.

Ruthie was employed for 10 years at the Pocopson Home, West
Chester, in the housekeeping department, retiring in 1986.

She is survived by two sons, James W. Hamm, Jr. of
Greenwood, Del. and Ancel Hamm of Pittsburgh, two brothers, James Hall and
Azzie Hall both of Pikeville, Ky.; one sister, Verlie Hamm of Jennersville; two
granddaughters, Barbara Hamm and Deborah Hamm, and one great-grandson, William
Kavanaugh.

You are invited to visit with
her family and friends from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, at the Kuzo &
Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square. Her funeral service
will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square.
