Pennsbury Township Meeting



The position of tax collector was declared vacant when the elected person failed to file bond and file the correct papers.  Renny Wood was appointed to fill that position.  HA Berkheimer & Associates will continue to collect taxes.  Tax bills will go out March 19.


 April 7 at 7:30 Town Watch Annual meeting will occur at the Chaddsford Winery.


 April 8 at 7:30 Pennsbury Land Trust will meet at the Pennsbury Township Building.  Dave B Arscot, Ph.D., Assistant Director of Stroud Water Research Center, will talk about “Back yards, streams and rivers, and drinking water quality.” http://www.stroudcenter.org/index.htm  RSVP Requested but not required 610-388-7401.


 May 1 from 9 AM to 2 PM will be the annual Yard Sale.  Rain date is May 8.


 Township Audit is Complete.


 Aaron McIntyre was appointed to represent the township on the board of the Pennsbury Land Trust.


 The township newsletter will go out next week.


 The Route 52 Byway Committee is writing a grant to have a bike lane in the Pennsbury section of Route 52.


 Windmill Hollow was recommended for approval by the Planning Commission pending resolution of a few minor issues.


 PVA has filed for an extension for final approval of plans until 5/31.


 The Historic Ordinance Amendment has been finalized and will be advertised.


 The supervisors and township manager, Kathleen Howley, are to be commended for a well planned meeting and being faithful to the time table of that plan.  More information about the township is available on their site. http://www.pennsbury.pa.us/screens/index.php
