Cedric Watson

Four-time Grammy-nominated fiddler, singer, accordionist, and songwriter Cedric Watson will perform at Longwood Gardens for a members-only event. The performance is Sunday, May 19, beginning at 7 p.m. Watson is one of the brightest young talents to emerge in Cajun, Creole, and Zydeco (Louisiana French) music over the last decade. His group, Cedric Watson & Bijou Creole, creates a tapestry of pulsing rhythms and Creole poetry—and his live performances are unforgettable, all at once progressive and nostalgic. Members’ guests are welcome but must be accompanied by a member. Guests not included in a Membership require admission tickets. Complimentary guest tickets may be used on these evenings.
