• Police said they arrested a 24-year-old Philadelphia man for DUI and drug possession charges following a traffic stop in Pennsbury Township on March 27. The report was light on details. It didn’t include the man’s identity. The only detail was that the arrest happened at 12:38 a.m. on Route 1.
• Carl V. Daly, 66, of Exton, was cited for speeding following a three-car crash on W. Street Road in Pocopson Township on March 26, police said. The crash happened at 3:41 p.m. According to the report, Daly was driving east at an unsafe speed on W. Street Road when he struck another vehicle that was stopped behind a third car that was making a right-hand turn into a residential driveway. No injuries were reported.
• State police said they arrested two people, a 22-year-old man from the District of Columbia, and an 18-year-old female from Perth Amboy, N.J., for shoplifting at the East Marlborough Township Walmart on March 27. The report didn’t include what was taken.
• A Pennsbury couple, a 77-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman, were scammed out of $9,500 in March. Police said they were contacted by a realtor who said there was an offer for a timeshare the couple had in Mexico. They wired the money to the realtor but later found out it was a scam.
• A two-car crash resulted in a 17-year-old boy from Unionville being cited for following too closely. The accident happened on E. Street Road in East Marlborough Township at 3:25 p.m. on March 13. Police said the teen was driving east on Street Road but struck another vehicle that was stopped, waiting for a break in traffic to make a left-hand turn onto Willowdale Lane. No injuries were reported.
