Police are investigating smash-and-grab thefts involving two vehicles parked on Applied Bank Boulevard in Concord Township on Jan. 17.

Police said they arrested a motorist for DUI at Pocopson and Lenape roads in Pocopson Township on Jan. 30. The driver was not identified in the report. The operator submitted to field sobriety tests and a breath sample which showed positive signs of impairment.

State police are investigating a Jan. 29 robbery at the CVS on Baltimore Pike in East Marlborough Township. Two people, a man and a woman, neither one being described in the report, stole an estimated $562 worth of merchandise.

Police are also investigating a reported theft at the Walmart in East Marlborough Township on Jan. 27. An unidentified man reached over the counter and took more than $800 in currency from the cash register.

A traffic stop for traffic violations led to the arrest of a Stevens, Pa. woman on drug possession charges. Police identified the driver as 40-year-old Bobbie Puchalski. According to the report, Puchalski showed signs of impairment and police found several types of narcotics in the car. The incident happened at 2:05 a.m. at E. Street Road and Primrose Drive in East Marlborough Township on Jan. 25.

Jose I. Zamores, 18, of Kennett Square, was cited following a one-car crash on Lenape Road in Pocopson Township, police said. According to the report, Zamores was heading east on Lenape Road and attempted to negotiate a left-hand curve approaching Red Bridge Lane when the car went off the road and struck a guard rail. No injuries were reported from the Jan. 20 accident.

A 17-year-old girl was cited for speeding following a two-car crash on Route 1 in Pennsbury Township on Jan. 16. The teen was traveling and attempted to turn right into the parking lot of 640 Baltimore Pike but was going too fast to properly negotiate the turn and struck another car that was exiting the lot. No injuries were reported.
