More COVID-19 closures

Coronavirus concerns have forced more closings in the area. Longwood Gardens will temporarily close to the public starting Saturday, March 14 with the aim of reopening after March 31, “but will continue to monitor developments and reassess accordingly,” a press release said.

Delaware Museum of Natural History also announced that it will close until Monday, April 20 and Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center is closing for two weeks beginning Sunday, March 15.

Also closing from March 16-30 is the Rachel Kohl Library, and all library-sponsored programs are canceled through April 11.

The Brandywine River Museum of Art is remaining open during regular hours but is canceling all upcoming public events, pick-up tours and programs scheduled at the museum now through April 30.

UPDATE:

State Sen. Tom Killion, R-9, is temporarily closing his district offices to walk-in traffic. However, he said in a press release, that the phones will be monitored and calls returned.
