• Police from the Avondale barracks said Ryan W. Sweet, 39, of Kennett Square, was cited following a two-vehicle accident on East Street Road near Route 52 in Pennsbury Township on Dec. 4. The report said Sweet was eastbound on Street Road when he turned left into the path of an oncoming vehicle. No injuries were reported.
• A 23-year-old man from Brooklyn, N.Y., unidentified in the report, was arrested for marijuana possession in the parking lot of the U.S. Post Office in Chadds Ford on Nov. 20. A police report said a trooper from the Avondale barracks performed a welfare check on the driver and smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. The incident happened at 12:36 a.m.
• Police said a motorist, unidentified in the report, was arrested for DUI following a Nov. 3 traffic stop on Route 1 at Constitution Drive in Pennsbury Township. The report said the driver failed standard field sobriety tests and impairment testing. The traffic stop was made at 12:07 a.m.
• Troopers are investigating the reported theft of a purse that was taken from a park bench in the Pocopson Township park on Nov. 12. The purse, valued at $20, was reported to contain a driver’s license and 120 generic Percocets.
• A 25-year-old man from Wilmington was arrested for marijuana possession in East Marlborough Township on Nov. 30. The suspect, not named in the police report, was taken into custody following a traffic stop on Route 1 after marijuana and paraphernalia were found in the vehicle. Police said they made a probable cause search because the aroma of burnt marijuana was detected.
• An unidentified man from Virginia was arrested on Nov. 29 following a traffic stop on Lenape Road in Kennett Township. A police report said troopers detected the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle and a search yielded marijuana and a loaded firearm.
