Joseph P.  Spetzer, of Chadds Ford, died Monday, April 22. Joseph was a resident of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania at the time of passing. He was a LaSalle High School graduate and won a National Merit Scholarship to Villanova University where he was a 1960 graduate with an electrical engineering degree. Services will be private. Brandywine Business Network donates to operation Warm.

• Members of Brandywine Business Network presented a check for $751.64 to Heather Connolly representing Operation Warm. The money will buy coats for needy children. Dick Sanford purchased 58 coats twenty years ago and started the organization. Last year 400,000 coats were distributed. The projection for next year is 450,000 coats.
