Yen is a 2-year-old male terrier/American pit bull mix.
I am actually not as shy as my photos make me look. I just don’t like the camera. I sure love human attention though. I am a super sweet guy who is very polite and well behaved. When I am happy my tail wags like crazy, my butt wiggles all over and I will give you lots of kisses. I love to be outside and play- do you like that too? Come meet me and maybe we can have fun all the time.
John B. “Jake” Small, 92, of West Chester, and formerly of Highland Park, Upper Darby died June 29 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center Hospice.
Born in 1923 in Philadelphia, John was the son of the late John B. and Mary (McAnany) Small.
He served honorably in the US Army during WWII and was a Bronze Star and Victory Medal recipient.
John was a journeyman in the printing industry. He worked for many years with Dornan’s Printing in Philadelphia and Collingdale.
John was an active member of SS Simon & Jude Church for 51 years where he was a Eucharistic Minister. He was a loyal contributor to the St. Agnes Day Room in West Chester. John was an avid fan of the Phillies and Eagles.
He was the beloved husband of Constance T. (nee Quinn); loving father of Constance T. Dulin (the late John) of West Chester, Judith P. Renn (Bill) of Valley Township, Kevin J. Small of Carlisle, Michele DelCollo (John) of Thornton, Sheila M. Gwinner (Horst) of West Chester, Terrence P. Small (Kim) of Downingtown; loving grandfather of Daniel, Brian, Janette, Megan, Siobhan, Sean, Brittany, Brooke, Brian, Kerri, Eric, Connor, Kevin and 12 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Joseph Small (the late Marilyn).
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 9:30-10:50 a.m. Friday, July 3 and to his funeral mass 11 a.m. at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA. Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery.

Patrick V. Morris, 52, of Garnet Valley, died June 30. Born in Philadelphia, he was the dear son of Mary T. Gannon and the late James J. Morris.
Patrick was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and St. Joseph University. He was employed as a finance manager with Day and Zimmerman in Philadelphia. He was the brother of James J. (Rita), Joseph S. (Joanne), Kathleen Errante and Dennis M. (Michele). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
