Natural Lands Trust plans summer gala

As winter refuses to release its icy grip, Natural Lands Trust (NLT) invites area residents to think about summer, specifically its “Stardust” fundraiser.

On Friday, June 12 – as the constellation Bootes (the “Celestial Farmer”), an ever-amazing Saturn, and a brightly-shining Jupiter grace the night sky – guests will gather from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. for an evening of cocktails, local farm-to-table edibles, and much merriment at Natural Land Trust’s 570-acre Stroud Preserve in West Chester, where the fusion of built and natural resources remain as an icon of Chester County history, according to an NLT press release.

All of the evening’s proceeds will be used to advance Natural Lands Trust efforts to save land, steward natural resources, and connect people to nature throughout the region.

This event has sold-out the last two years so making reservations early is recommended. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.natlands.org/summercelebration or call 610-353-5587, ext. 224.
