Robert J. Fossity, of West Chester, died March 19.
Born in 1926 in Englewood, N.J., he was the son of the late Josephine (nee Klemm) and Joseph Fossity. Robert served honorably in the United States Air Force during WWII. He graduated from Rutgers University and went on to work as an engineer at Westinghouse and Burroughs.
Robert was the beloved husband of Josephine D. Fossity (nee DeLia), with whom he shared 56 years of marriage; the loving father of Robert J. Fossity Jr. (Karen) of New Fairfield, CT, Elizabeth A Trembicki (Richard) of West Chester, Anne DiSciullo (Robert) of West Chester, Kathleen M. Cotillo of Chester Springs, Carole M. Felton of Wallingford. He was predeceased by his daughter, Margaret Mary Fossity; also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Tuesday, March 24 at 11:30 a.m. at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382, immediately followed by his Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. Int. St. Agnes Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Project, 1630 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146.
