Ian William Fischer of Pilesgrove, N.J. and New London, Pa

Ian William Fischer, 17, of Pilesgrove, N.J. and New London, Pa., died suddenly Thursday Nov. 6, in Salem County New Jersey as a result of a car accident.

Born in Media, he was a son of William J. Fischer Jr. and his wife Lori of Pilesgrove, N.J. and Lisa Gourdier Malone and her husband, Walter, of New London. 
Ian was a senior at Salem County Vocational Technical School in the Auto Body training division. He attended Avon Grove School District up until ninth grade before moving to New Jersey. Ian loved cars and was restoring a 1978 corvette. He also enjoyed glass blowing, skateboarding, fishing, snowboarding, going to the beach, sport clay shooting, pheasant hunting and hanging out with his friends.

Survivors include in addition to his parents and step parents, his paternal grandparents, William and Elaine Margist Fischer Sr. of Aston; his maternal grandparents, John and Madeline Cusumano Gourdier of Glen Mills; seven brothers and sisters, Katarina and Kyle Fischer of New London, Christopher, Samantha and Katie Malone of New London, Krista Cannavo of Newark, Del. and Tanner Cannavo of Milford, Del.; a nephew Dominic Biscoe and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

You are invited to visit with Ian's family and friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the D'ANJOLELL Stigale Memorial Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of Aston - 3260 Concord Rd. Aston, PA 19014 and from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 3255 Concord Road also in Aston. His mass of Christian burial will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Interment will be in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pa. Contributions in his memory may be made to Gift of Life Donor program 401 North 3rd St. Philadelphia, PA 19123.
