• It’s "Romance and Rumor" at the Brandywine River Museum from 6-9 p.m. on Feb. 14. Come and see if those rumors are true. Wander through the galleries and hear tall tales and true stories behind selected works in the museum collection. Cash bar and small plates available for purchase. Enjoy music by The Midnighters, an acoustic duo who will perform throughout the evening. Tickets are $12 for members, $15 for adults; $20 for member couples and $25 for non-member couples. • The Kennett Area Senior Center sponsors an afternoon tea party on Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 2:30 – 4 p.m. In addition to a variety of fine teas, delicacies will be served. The theme will be “A Salute to the Presidents”. The cost is $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Please call the KASC for reservations 610-444-4819.
